We have started adding the 4k resolution for some newer videos due to the newest update in the platform we’re using. BUT if you want the videos to look clearer and optimized for reels, we suggest to download the 1080p version, so Instagram takes lesser time to compress, resulting to a higher quality video.

New videos will be added on a weekly basis until our gallery reaches 700 videos. Then, it will be bi-weekly (70-100 every two weeks or 100-200 videos every month).

Over-editing the videos can lower their quality. I usually use Capcut for editing. It’s better for slowing down the speed because there is an option to maintain “better quality” or to make it “smoother” instead of slowing down the video on Instagram’s reel editing tab instead.
If you’re using an editing app, make sure your export quality is 1080p. Capcut has this option. Not sure about other editing apps.
When uploading reels, make sure the “Upload at highest quality” option is turned on. You can see this in Advanced Settings (in the same page where you’re adding the caption, just scroll to the bottom). Once in Advanced Settings, scroll to the bottom again and you’ll find “Media quality” where it says “Upload at highest quality”. Turn that on.
